These are Bournes sealed-type potentiometers that I got at a surplus store. These are high-quality pots, better than the carbon potentiometers that are in open casings. These should last long even after many knob-tweaking.

Gotta have knobs for those pots...

These are multi-colored ribbon wires I'll use to wire my project. This should help in organization and avoid spaghetti-like wiring.

Of course, we need pushbuttons for the project. The 4 red buttons will be used for navigation control.

This is a pic of the LCD display. I bought (2) since the price was very good at the surplus store. I'll use one for the project. I haven't figured out yet how to wire this thing to the CORE module.

Finally got some time today to do some soldering. Shown above are the Analog Input module, the Core module, and the Digital input module. IC chips and PICs are not inserted yet on the PCB.
