Each mini faceplate is professionally manufactured on high precision CNC machines.   Using thick 3mm anodized aluminum panels (not painted, therefore won't chip or fade away), the 12-steps of the gain switch is marked with an engraved indicator.  Labels for the Gain, Trim knobs and +48V switches are also engraved/etched into the aluminum panel.... they will not fade or chip away because it's not a painted silkscreen.

All you'll need to do is cut out a square opening in your front panel, and use 2 nuts and bolts to attach the mini-faceplate to it.
