This is an assembled PSU-2448mk2 kit. We'd assemble the kit, calibrate it for +/- 18V (or whatever voltage you need) and test it for proper operation. All you'll need to do is hookup a power transformer, and your preamp or project to the board. Each voltage in the power supply kit (+, -, +48V) can be fine-tuned using the (3) PCB-mounted Bourns trim potentiometers. Low-profile, Snap-in capacitors are used for the large value capacitors to save on space and make the PSU kit fit on a 1u low-profile rack. High quality components like Bourns trimmers, Panasonic, Nichicon caps are used. The PCB is double-sided with top silkscreen and plated through holes. On-board LED indicator lamps for a quick visual reminder if the board is powered up. One LED indicator can be used to wire an LED front panel indiciator. Note: Power Transformer not included, see our Power Kit for transformer, fuse holder, fuse, power switch, IEC power inlet, LED panel indicator, etc.
